How much sales tax will be charged on an order in the U.S.? What if my organization is nonprofit and tax exempt? |
| MATTI Math collects 6.10% sales tax only on orders placed by Utah entities. In most other states, purchasers are responsible for submitting “use tax” on internet purchases when they file state income taxes at the end of the year. |
| If an order is being paid for by a Utah nonprofit organization, such as a public school, no tax will be added to your order if you put a checkmark in the box next to the “Tax Exempt” field during Checkout and enter your organization’s Federal Tax ID Number (FEIN). |

How do I make international payment to MATTI Math?

All payments to MATTI Math for products and Shipping & Handling must be paid in U.S. currency. The amount you pay in your country's money will depend on the currency conversion rate at the time you make your purchase.
- Your credit card may allow you to make a payment that is converted to U.S. funds. Your credit card issuer may charge a small fee for the conversion--Check with your credit card issuer.
- You may be able to use a check from your bank or a money order for U.S. purchases. Check with the bank or money order vendor on the cost and international validity of ones they offer.

How do I pay import fees?
|
You are likely to need to pay customs charges that may include tariffs, international taxes and a service fee. These payments go to your country’s government, not to MATTI Math.
- For shipped orders, each country usually collects these from the order recipient at the time you receive the package. You may need to go to your local post office to pick up your order and pay the customs charges.
- For download orders, countries have differing policies for paying customs and taxes. It the responsibility of the purchaser to find out and comply with your country's regulations.
